Meet Beata

Hi and thank you for taking the time to learn more about my approach to photography and read more about me. I am a creative and award-winning wedding, event and portrait photographer based in Bath, Somerset.

I love waking up to birdsong, seeing views of Bath through my window and watching the light changing over the city. I believe that my approach to photography is unique, and my work truly shows who I am. I trust you can see this for yourself in my pictures. I am proud to say that since becoming a professional photographer in 2014, I have photographed many weddings, including grand ceremonies, garden weddings and intimate elopement dos. I am constantly on the lookout for new places to take pictures locally, and new ways to work with Bath suppliers and coordinators.

As I operate locally and I am self-employed, my prices are very competitive. I have a range of packages, including shorter shoots, because I believe that every wedding, engagement and celebration should be captured and treasured for eternity. I also specialise in surprise proposals for couples who pop the question in some of Bath’s romantic locations. As an easy-going person who always loves meeting new people, I like to get to know the couples I photograph in order to be able to capture what it is that brings the two of them together.

I have photographed many corporate & community & family events from fun family photo shoots, birthday parties and award ceremonies, to conferences and community celebrations. With my portrait photography, I like to take my customers on a journey, which captures their true personality, whether it’s a corporate headshot in the office, a photo for a social or dating profile or a fun family photo shoot.

I also describe myself as a ‘green’ photographer. For example, to charge all my photographic equipment I use the energy from the solar panels on my roof, use my bike and walk whenever I can. By doing this I feel really energized and happy to know that I am minimising the impact of my work and life on the environment. On my walks, I collect litter, as every little bit helps to make Bath a truly great place to be.

I have made many friends in my photography journey and have had the greatest privilege of being allowed behind the scenes in people’s lives. I have loved every moment of my work with my camera, and would love to be engaged as your photographer in the future.
