Surprise Engagement & Proposal photography at the Botanical Gardens in Bath

One of the most heartwarming moments I’ve had the pleasure to capture recently was a beautiful surprise proposal at the Botanical Gardens & Temple of Minerva in Bath. Somerset

The couple had travelled all the way from Peru to experience the charm and romance of this historic city — and what better place to get engaged than in one of Bath’s most picturesque green spaces?

Despite a little rain on the day, the love and excitement between them shone through. The weather didn’t dampen their spirits in the slightest — in fact, the soft light and gentle drizzle added a uniquely romantic atmosphere to the moment.

As a local photographer based in Bath, just a short walk from the Botanical Gardens and Temple of Minerva, I feel incredibly lucky to work in such a beautiful part of the world.

I specialise in engagement photography, surprise proposals, and couple sessions — all tailored to reflect each couple’s unique story and vision.
