As a photographer, I’m usually observing quietly from the outside — anticipating emotion, waiting for the split second where everything changes. But this time, I was right there as it unfolded. We were standing in front of The Holburne Museum in Bath — a setting that already feels cinematic on its own, with that unmistakable Bridgerton-era elegance in the air.
And then it happened. He turned to her, took her hands, and got down on one knee 💍 There was a pause — that quiet, suspended moment where everything feels still — and then it all came out at once.
The surprise, the emotion, the disbelief. And then, the yes. Completely real, completely overwhelming, and absolutely perfect in its honesty.
It was everything you hope for in a proposal. No staging, no interruption, just raw reaction in one of the most beautiful backdrops you could ask for.
